Refund & Returns Policy
Returns
We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of delivery. If you wish to return your item, please contact us at info@marleyshomeware.co.uk within 30 days of receiving your order.
All items must be returned in their original packaging. If the bread bin has been opened or assembled, please follow the steps below before returning to ensure it arrives back to us safely:
Wrap all wooden parts tightly in cling film to prevent scratches during transit. Place all screws and small fixings into a small sealed bag so they do not move around and damage the product. If viewing panels have been removed, wrap these separately. Place all parts securely back inside the original box, filling any gaps with newspaper or bubble wrap to prevent movement.
If the item arrives back to us with any damage caused by inadequate packaging, the cost of that damage will be deducted from your refund.
Return Postage
For change of mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of return postage. You can return the item via any tracked postal service of your choosing, or we can provide a return label — the cost of which will be deducted from your refund.
For faulty or damaged items, we will cover the return postage at no cost to you.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected by our returns team, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow up to 5 to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was received faulty or damaged.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, photos and a short video showing the issue, and the part letter on the affected piece. In many cases we can resolve the issue by sending a replacement part without the need for a full return.
All bread bins come with a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. If a fault develops within this period, please get in touch and we will arrange a replacement part free of charge.
Defective Sale Items
Items sold as defective are clearly marked on the listing with all known issues detailed prior to purchase. Defective items are sold at a reduced price and are not covered by our warranty. Returns and refunds are not available on defective items. Please ensure you are happy with the item as described before purchasing.
International Returns
For international orders, the customer is responsible for all return postage costs. Any customs duties or import taxes paid on the original order are charged by your local customs authority and cannot be refunded by us.
Items Not Eligible for Return
Items returned outside of the 30-day return window. Items not in their original packaging. Defective sale items. Preorder items prior to delivery — please refer to our cancellation policy.
